Missing Vowels is a free daily word puzzle game where you decode words or phrases that have had all their vowels (A, E, I, O, U) and spaces removed. It is inspired by the Missing Vowels round on the BBC quiz show Only Connect.

How do you play Missing Vowels?

Each day you receive 12 clues across 3 difficulty levels (Easy, Medium, Hard) with 4 clues each. Every clue shows a word with its vowels removed — type your best guess. You have 15 seconds and 2 attempts per clue. Score green for a first-try answer, yellow for second try, and red for a miss.

Is Missing Vowels free to play?

Yes, Missing Vowels is completely free to play. A new daily puzzle is available every day at midnight, and you can also play unlimited puzzles in Unlimited Mode.

Is this the same as the Only Connect missing vowels round?
